They’ll say anything they think will get what they want: Anti-EU campaign chief wants NHS privatised
Can anybody say they’re surprised that the founder of a group that said leaving the EU will provide more money for the NHS actually wants to privatise the health service?
This Writer has said all along that leaving the EU doesn’t mean more money will become available for UK services; it means the Tories will be able to cut taxes, thereby making rich people much richer.
The poor wouldn’t be affected as much – except the services they receive courtesy of EU subsidies would disappear.
Oh… and the NHS too, in a few years’ time.
The founder of one of the main groups campaigning to pull Britain out of the European Union has called for the NHS to be sold off to the private sector.
Campaigners from the Leave.EU group have claimed in public that if Britain pulled out of Europe, the money that currently goes to Brussels could “be spent on our priorities such as the NHS”.
But during a visit to the United States, Arron Banks, the co-founder of the group who has given millions of pounds to bankroll the campaign, admitted he was in favour of privatising the NHS entirely.

Who the hell is this Banks bloke?
He’s a founder of Leave.EU – beyond that, who cares?
