Australia today punched a big hole in Brexiter dreams that the UK would quickly get trade deals with other countries after the EU Referendum vote.

Talking to the UK would only happen after we left the EU and after they concluded a deal with the EU, the Aussies said. Oops.

This was a far cry from the briefings by senior Tories just recently.

Surprise surprise, David Davis [pictured] had no idea what he was talking about.

I said this on Facebook page last week. We left Oz and NZ in the lurch when we joined Common Market and they found new markets in the Pacific Rim countries. Many still regard us as ‘Pommie B*****ds’ and who can blame them. Wheels coming off the Brexit Bus already.

Very true but we think all we have to do is send the queen down there to put them in there place and every thing would be OK

We can’t get a trade deal until we leave the eu, because eu regulations prevent us from negotiating our own deals, so the headline is misleading.

The headline refers to a trade deal after Brexit, so not misleading by your standard at all.
