Theresa May’s latest silly #Brexit idea will kill off her own party’s support
The UK is slowly waking up to the real meaning of Brexit: Economic ruin.
Everything being done by Theresa May’s team (if you can call it that) is intended to mitigate the negative effects of leaving the European Union – but she is fast running out of options.
The latest idea – a “transitional deal” to allow the UK continued access to the single market while trade negotiations continue – will anger Tory Eurosceptics and anyone else who voted ‘Leave’ in the belief that the UK would soon be free of the bureaucracy they’ve been told the EU represents.
So what are her options?
Soft Brexit? It doesn’t exist and never did. The EU will not allow us to retain the privileges we have enjoyed as a member state, after we leave.
A transitional deal? Unpopular with UK citizens.
Hard Brexit it is, then. We go, stripped of all benefits, and face an uncertain future as a suddenly-rather-small fish in an ocean full of sharks.
Just remember who did this to you, folks: David Cameron, Nigel Farage, Theresa May – and all their supporters.

If the Tories had any guts at all they would realize that the best action would be to ask the country to vote again in the light of what we know today. I am sorry to have to say that I feel the same goes for Labour as well.
Brexit i8s still what it has always been right from the start – the fight for the heart of the nasty Tory Party. I hope the Nasty Party will implode before Brexit takes the whole country down with the Tory Party.
Mike, you’ll get your response on the 4th December after the referendum in Italy and the presidential election in Austria.
