The Budget is biased against the North, says Burnham
Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham says the Tory Budget is biased towards areas that already enjoy high economic growth – meaning the North loses out.
This applies particularly to investment in infrastructure such as transport, which of course leaves other industries at a distinct disadvantage. What’s the point of making great products if you can’t move them anywhere?
