Jeremy Hunt will never by forgiven if he does not ease A&E crisis | Mirror Online
We are discussing a creature that believes it is more useful to the country to give a £4.7 billion tax break to bankers, who add nothing to the general prosperity of the UK as a whole, than to properly fund a health service that would – provided with the wherewithal – turn sick people back into productive members of society.
This creature thinks it is a good idea to starve the health service of funding because it pushes people into buying private healthcare and making profit for people who don’t actually do anything useful themselves.
It’s time this kind of misuse of the tools of government was turned into a crime, with a mandatory jail term.
It is glaringly obvious how much the NHS is ailing from the figures showing the shocking rise in the number of patients stuck in ambulances outside hospitals.
More than 20,000 anxious, unwell people in the last fortnight in England alone have been forced to endure long waits in the back of a vehicle before getting into A&E.
Long stints on hospital trolleys used to be the problem, but now there are queues to get into the building before you can even find a spot on a corridor.
There are calls for 150,000 volunteers to relieve pressure on workers, who will no doubt be asked to carry out tasks that paid staff once performed. Tory cuts are destroying a service that is not an optional extra, but an essential public service. A matter of life and death.
Hapless Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt will never be forgiven. Crossing his fingers and hoping for mild weather to avoid a winter crisis isn’t a strategy – it’s a high-risk gamble that could cost people their lives.

The only thing I notice about this is that wars are extremely expensive, although they are a fine way of reducing the “Layabouts” in our population. This is how it has always been. Before WW1 they were using Russians in the mines. They had all theuniforms and firearms ready to send our workers to the River Somme in Belgium, where the huge barbed wire war machine had been constructed, blocked by the wire except for the channels that led to the enemy machine guns, on both sides. How efficient was that! Now they have shut down most of our factories and sold off the land where they stood. Most of our gear is now imported from China, cheaper than running factories to make money! We, the people, will pay top price for Chinese gear. They no longer need nor want the British worker, but they will blame them for the outcome!

That would be the Mirror, not me for a change!

Can people quoting the 120,000 figure PLEASE remember this ONLY applies to health and social care and should therefore be considered only a FRACTION of the total figure.
What about all the DWP-related deaths that the government refuses to record?
You are so right
Thanks
