Police numbers have fallen again under the Tories. Do you feel safe?

Last Updated: February 12, 2018By

“There are now 121,929 police officers in England and Wales. That’s 21,805 fewer than there were in 2010,” according to Scott Nelson on Twitter.

“Tory MP Paul Maynard voted for police cuts, then complained that his local police station in Bispham was earmarked for closure.”

an idea for the police forces all over the country. when it comes time for the nazis to come out and ask for protection they should send one police officer in a car with no radio and that is all. when they start to complain the chief constable should state quite clear and as publicly as possible that this is all that is spare to do ‘special duties as the rest are busy trying to solve the increased crimes that have happened since they cut the police budgets to the bone.

if they decide they do not like it then suggest they pay more money into the fund so that they can recruit more officers again to be able to cover their ‘special needs’. i doubt they will consider this so they can be left with no protection and the police can do their best to keep law and order but away from the nazi ‘special events’ they hold, like conference and elections.

Look at the chart of change in numbers of officers – (Figure 3.2)
The numbers dropped every year that Theresa May was in charge of the Home Office.

I suspect they are lining this public service up for privatisation. The greedy, selfish Tories are probably drooling at the thought of how much money they can make for a rubbish service to the public.
