Overwhelming majority of This Site’s readers believe Brexit is harming the UK and should stop
Nearly 5,000 people have voted in a Vox Political poll on Brexit – and the overwhelming majority want the process halted and the UK to stay in the EU.
Readers were asked, “Do you think moves toward Brexit are harmful to the UK and should stop?”
In response, 4,722 responded with a resounding: “Yes.” That’s 94.91 per cent of respondents; 19/20 of those who took part.
Only 253 said, “No.” They totalled a mere 5.09 per cent.
Of course, this isn’t a scientific study. The poll can’t be weighted to be representative of the population as a whole.
But it does indicate widespread fatigue with the process and disillusionment with the promises of the Brexiters – promises that are being progressively proved false.

May be you attract people who do not think democracy is important, any damage being done to the U.K. is by the minority who think the majority do not matter. No 5k people on here do not make up a rational decision making process.
A majority that is so tiny it might as well be a statistical irrelevance? While you parade around, carrying on as if the nearly-as-many people who voted Remain don’t matter? And what about those who didn’t vote because they weren’t allowed?
Brexit, which is still only an internal Nasty Tory Party squabble, is the biggest act of self harm a British Government has ever taken.
You are preaching to the converted. it is like when Guardian Independent Telegraph or Times or Sun ask or publish a feedback survey. Its results are biased by the group that reads it.
We are in a tiny echo chamber. after years of being in a circle of informed and fantastic activists and bloggers and groups I had the idea and feeling everyone is informed, they are not. Majority still are not.
And ask the background and experience and relationship to EU and Brexit.
Some business is going up, trade is opening to wider world, interest coming in British financial services increased mega to beat USA Switzerland and far east.
Both Tories and traditional Conservative and Labour and traditional working class and businesses and farmers voted OUT only the mushrooming of liberal white middle class voted stay. So nobody is really convinced the way you are.
Need the facts and stats not fear or scare mongering. Lot happening.

As for the poll – I said it wasn’t scientific. It’s still worth noting, I think.
