Donald Trump likes to make excuses for a certain kind of gunman. What’s the solution?
Aren’t you sick of hearing excuses for mass murderers in American who happen to be white?
Someone on Twitter made a flowchart about it, like this:
Donald Trump has now tried to suggest that the shooter in Florida may have been “mentally disturbed”:
United States President Donald Trump has suggested the suspect in the Florida shooting that killed 17 people is possibly “mentally disturbed”
The ex-pupil, identified as Nikolas Cruz, 19, allegedly walked into the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland on Wednesday shortly before classes ended and opened fire on students and teacher.
Cruz was armed with an AR-15-style rifle and had multiple magazines of ammunition when he surrendered to officers in a nearby residential area, police said. He loved guns and was expelled for unspecified disciplinary reasons, police and former classmates said.
In a tweet on Thursday, Trump suggested “signs” had been missed.
“So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”
Unfortunately, it turns out that Mr Trump himself revoked a US law that would have made it harder for the shooter to buy a gun in the first place:
His words are at odds with one of his first actions as President.
Behind closed doors and to cheers from the National Rifle Association, he rolled back an Obama-era regulation that would have made it harder for people with histories of mental illness to buy guns.
This Writer liked the solution for the Trump problem that was aired on The Last Leg (February 16):
Convince him that guns are a Muslim plot. Then he’d ban them from the USA, no matter what the National Rifle Association said.
I almost tweeted Mr Trump with a message to that effect, but refrained – in the interests of good taste.
It would work, though.

Perhaps it was a case of one mentally disturbed person, Trump, recognising another mentally disturbed person.
Does not take much to pick up a gun and start shooting if you are angry with life. Too Easy.
That is why we dont have them
However, these days every other person likes to pose on social media with a gun or nasty skinning and meat cutting knife
And just after Raoul Moat and Derek Bird gun massacres I was in a pub and asked WHO THE HELL KNOWS HOW TO GET A FIRE ARM OR SAWN OFF SHOTGUN LIKE THAT. I WOULD NOT KNOW?
Then everyone in pub admitted to having a gun or several even the small innocent tiny old woman in the corner. “I have a gun, have to these days.”
CRIKEY! they did offer to give me one of their guns after they found I did not have one. How Nice, I declined.
This is south east where a lot of London scene and world comes to. Bringing the London criminal world to the south east and to the coast line where in the sleeping disintegrating seaside towns organisations and crime flourishes. both national and international.

And a few years ago I was offered a semi automatic in a sainsburys carrier bag minding my own business in a shopping square just off the town centre.
I declined kept the man in vision, phoned police, they did not want to know. The gun could have been one used in a crime or one which could have been used in a crime in the future.
POLICE = NO INTEREST
Had to let the man go and sell his semi automatic to someone else. Police said if I touched it or took it off him I would be charged with handling an illegal firearm but they would not come out to seize it themselves.

The Guardian has published a chart that shows approximately 1,500 mass shootings in 1,700 days in America. How can they still be clinging to the 2nd Amendment? When I lived in America, Columbine caused mass outpourings of horror and rage. Now Americans seem to be getting used to it. I’ve seen articles which said that America is ruled by inculcating fear in the populace by playing up every negative event and playing down the positive. Perhaps this is finally turning round to bite them. How long before people start shooting their neighbours because they don’t like the look of them?
