While Theresa May was trying to justify her government’s attitude to Brexit in the face of opposition from the Scottish Parliament, he could not have cared less.

He was clearly listening to her, but his facial expression says everything about his opinion.

Mrs May is said to be delaying discussion on the Scottish Parliament’s decision to reject her EU Withdrawal Bill because she cannot rely on her party for support.

With colleagues like Mr Hancock, that is easy to understand.
