Johnson forced through peerage for disgraced cash-for-access Tory – who then donated £500K to the party. Corruption? Apparently not!
I’ve been struck down with the dreaded lurgi and can’t write full and proper articles at the moment, but I wanted to attract your attention to information you need to see.
The latest scandal to hit the Conservative Government is a £500,000 donation to Tory Party funds by disgraced “cash-for-access” businessman Peter Cruddas, made only days after Boris Johnson insisted that he be given a peerage.
Apparently this is well within the rules – which suggests that the UK’s political system is institutionally corrupt.
Objections to a £3m Tory donor being appointed to the Lords – overruled & another £500k paid! Finding that Home Secretary bullied staff – overruled, keeps her job, & adviser resigns. Plan for education recovery – overruled, cut by 90%, & adviser resigns. https://t.co/csvD1Rq8m0

Boris Johnson made Peter Cruddas, a billionaire banker, a member of the House of Lords earlier this year.
Three days later Lord Cruddas donated £500,000 to the Conservative Party.
That shouldn't be legal. The fact it is tells you how corrupt the political establishment is.

Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

Mike, whatever it is that you are suffering from I wish you a speedy recovery. As for Johnson’s choice of “friends” well, all I can say is “be ye known by your friends.”
