The Tory government is messing up Brexit again – in multiple ways
This Writer has to do a mercy mission on November 16 so I don’t have much time to write articles and have to fall back on showing you some other articles about what is going on.
Let’s start with two vlogs about Brexit by A Different Bias.
In the first, the government have postponed the implementation of brexit UKCA requirements for a third year in a row.
UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking is intended to indicate conformity with the applicable requirements for products sold within the UK (although Northern Ireland would also have to conform with EU standards).
This time, they’ve postponed it for two years. As Phil Moorehouse states in his introductory text, “It is yet another feature of brexit that is impossible to implement, and so the government are kicking the can down the road again.”
Here’s the clip:
In the second, Phil discusses how Boris Johnson’s former cabinet minister for DEFRA, George Eustice, savaged our Brexit trade deals with Australia and New Zealand in the House of Commons, with particular focus on the way the negotiations were handled by Liz Truss.
But what will the reaction be within farming, the parliamentary Conservative party, Rishi Sunak’s government and others?
Here’s that clip:
Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.
