Secret recording shows Post Office officials knew Fujitsu was tampering with IT system
This revelation should be deciding factor in the Post Office scandal.
It is now clear that Post Office Limited, under then-CEO Paula Vennells, knew that Fujitsu staff were able to access and change records in the Horizon IT system that they all said was restricted to individual sub-postmasters only.
But they continued to insist that sub-postmasters had stolen huge amounts of money, prosecute them, and send them to jail:

This was the worst miscarriage of justice in the UK’s history – certainly its recent history.
The discovery of this recording should trigger not only a wave of compensation payouts to the hundreds of wronged sub-postmasters who Post Office Limited prosecuted, but also a wave of prosecutions against those who perverted the course of justice in order to put those law-abiding people in jail, or have them fined.
Why has Paula Vennells not been arrested, along with all her senior staff and the staff at Fujitsu who were responsible for this?
When will they be?
Or will they all weasel their way out of it in the usual ways that ensure the rich and powerful never face justice while their crimes are always paid for by the poor?
