It might be a lot of fun talking about the general election but if you haven’t already, you need to register to vote by tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18).

Their words are just as relevant to everybody else – although I’ll paraphrase a little. They say:
If you aren’t currently on the electoral register you only have until 11:59 pm tomorrow (18 June) to register to vote. Remember, if you’ve moved house since the last election you may not be registered at the correct address so re-register to secure your vote.
If you’re not going to be at home on July 4 – or unable to get to your polling station – but you are registered to vote, you can sign up for a postal vote by 5pm Wednesday (June 19) or if you’d like to send someone to vote on your behalf you’ll need to sign up for a proxy vote by 5pm June 26.
Please encourage your friends, family, and neighbours to register to vote today.
