Labour’s disgrace: The plotters who want to win so badly they won’t follow party rules
Resigned: Some of the backstabbers who are trying to push Jeremy Corbyn into resigning because they know none of them could win a leadership election against him.
LabourLeft’s Eoin Clarke has outlined three reasons the Labour plotters have behaved disgracefully:
This Writer did vote for Jeremy Corbyn as he stands for many policies I do support. Other than that, I support Eoin’s appraisal.
The ‘no confidence’ vote taking place today, by the way, should be renamed a ‘no consequence’ vote. It has no weight whatsoever.
And let’s not forget the evidence of Malc Cowle, who was told in April that a “coup” was being planned against Mr Corbyn, to take place after the EU referendum.
Add it all up and there’s a good case for suspending – and then expelling – the whole gang of 50 or more plotters for bringing the Labour Party into disrepute.
At the very least, they should run the risk of deselection before the next general election – even if it takes place as early as October.

What is wrong with these people? The Tories have landed the whole country in an enormous mess, the proportions of which are going to be gigantic. Now, more than ever before, the Party needs to be united.
This is an opportunity for a watershed of detractors and a new, and urgent age of politics in this country, I hope Corbyn capitalize’s on this. There must be many competent labour supporters willing to fill the shoes of these conspirators.
Even if those plotters against Jeremy Corbyn were sincere, which I very much doubt, they should have seized the opportunity to all join forces to support him in our golden opportunity to rid ourselves of this disastrous Tory government. Instead, they have shown their true colours and voted for their own gain at our expense. We are now a very much weakened party and so are our chances of getting a decent democracy once more thanks to every one of them.
I do not feel I can remain a member of such a community unless we can all get together and support Jeremy Corbyn.
Those that resigned now need to be removed as Labour members and elections called!
This is not why their constituents voted them in, and these MP’s have stabbed them in their backs as they so hard tried with their democratically elected leader!
Let us not forget the Conservatives are just about to foist an ‘unelected’ leader onto the country, the public will have no say in that ‘small’ matter!

Have you noticed how much media coverage the talking down Corbyn gets. How much media coverage did Corbyn get in the EU referendum. The talk down starts with, Labour cant win the election with Corbyn. Did they say, Labour cant win with Milliband.No one can pre determine an election.I voted to remain in eu.But the outs won, so should i have voted out because they won. No because i don’t believe its best. Same with Corbyn, i vote for him because he’s best.I dont base my vote on who I’m told is going to win the election.Dont be tricked – Again !

I heard Angela Eagle droning away on SKY News about Jeremy Corbyn not being the right person to lead the Labour Party into a General Election because he is not inspiring enough. Then I hear that she may be the frontrunner to replace him!! Oh yeah! She had the sort of voice that lulls you to sleep. Very inspirational. Why are they so hysterical? No one expected an early election this time last week. Do theycreally think that replacing Corbyn now and have another Leader in place with a bunch of ex-Blairite saddos in the Shadow Cabinet with a well thought out and agreed strategy foe the future by October is likely to attract all the floating voters back? Dream on. So why not let Jeremy be the Leader until then and see what the outcome is. If he wins, get i- line and stop internal feuding. The Country wants more than ever a united groupnof peoplexto run the Country. If he fails, thencthey have until 2020 to build a more robust strategy fleshed out with supporting policies all set against a timeline for achievement.
Until 2021. If there’s an election the new Parliament will run for another five years.
