Don’t believe Owen Smith’s claim that he wasn’t part of the #ChickenCoup
If Owen Smith wasn’t part of the attempted coup by Labour MPs against leader Jeremy Corbyn (branded the ‘Chicken Coup’ by some, due to its’ ringleaders’ reluctance to reveal themselves), why did he resign alongside all the other former shadow cabinet members who did so on June 26?
Why did he take part in the vote of ‘no confidence’ against Mr Corbyn the following week?
Why is he challenging Mr Corbyn for the party leadership now?
It doesn’t make sense for him to be suggesting this.
And then there’s this comment from John Mann:
This Writer politely suggests that no Labour Party member should dignify Mr Smith with their vote.
If you need more reasons, try the following:
And then there’s his attitude toward the sick and the disabled…
Owen Smith today criticised the “right” of the Labour Party as he confirmed he would run as Labour leader.
He vowed to stave off a split in the party and said he would be a “radical and credible” leader who could take Labour back into government.
The former shadow Cabinet minister – who opposed the Iraq War and did not become an MP until 2010 – will join Angela Eagle in taking on Jeremy Corbyn, who last night won the battle to stand again without a fresh round of nominations.
Today Smith offered praise for Corbyn but said the veteran left-winger was “not a leader”. He also denied any involvement in the attempted coup which, he said, had come from a small group “on the right”.

Clearly he’s the traitors attempt to split the traditional Labour vote, to allow a red Tory in.
He’s the closest they can find to a Real Labour MP in their conspiracy, so he’s been nominated by them as the wedge.
But if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably also has a deep-rooted fear of oranges!
I have listened to Angela Eagle Owen Smith and a good many more alleged Labour MPs use the tactic of the Right. This being keep repeating the Slur and the Lie repeat repeat repeat repeat eventually the thick Plebs will accept the Slur and Lie as the Truth Our Truth the Truth of the New Labour Elite The Lie. All New Labour ranks have this knack of bending the Truth they are indeed slippery Treacherous individuals Smith an undeniable LIAR and Coward states he had nothing to do with the chicken coup I rest my case on this part. Then we have a clutch of right wingers Eagle Smith et al telling us with as much sincerity as someone Hacking your nose off with a Blunt Hacksaw Blade that Jeremy is a lovely man but he is not a leader. Yes he bloody well is you Hypocritical clutch of Cowards you two challenging Jeremy are not fit to be in the same room as this pleasant kind caring Man of the People I ask you Brothers and Sisters how many Politicians could you say this about. Back JC to the Hilt because He backs us.
Yes, I heard that Mann had said that, and was quite surprised considering that I strongly suspect that Mann wants rid of Corbyn too.
Wasn’t he interviewed to along side one of the younger women. The young woman was going to put herself forward for leader………
There is no way he chould be trusted
I would like Mr Smith to show and declare all his interrests outside politic, at least he ough that to the voters, if not he is grabbing the gravy train like many of his ilk as a career politician.
He still don’t get it that the country has voted to be free from Brussells. He wants to put his beloved country back to prison.
He proclaim that Mr Corbyn is not a leader but Mr Smith compare to Mr Corbyn is a new arrivist inro the party.
Mr Smith and Ms Eagle both keep saying at every oportunity on tv and other medias that they want this and that, they are the best at leader the party compare this to Mr Corbyn who always speak on behalf of the people, he never pretend be the best but always ask for a democratic vote or comment, he always put the people first.
Ms Eagle and Mr Smith will found themselves out of words when asked about policies that Mr Corbyn had not already talked about, he has won more constituancy and more members and voters than the other two in their whole career in Labour party, Mr Corbyn is from a ligue of his own compare to these two narcissistic dreamers and plotters, only good to be sent to the bin of illusionists and deluded politicians.
no he wasnt a leader owen but he stepped up to be just the man the people wanted honest but then honesty has flown past you and those 170 mps who stuck the knife into corbyn you couldnt wait but karma has a way of hitting back mps you you should cross the floor has you aint a labour person jeff3
