Goldman Sachs to move hundreds of staff out of London due to Brexit
Goldman Sachs is to start moving hundreds of staff out of London before a Brexit deal is struck, the bank’s European boss has confirmed.
Richard Gnodde, chief executive of Goldman Sachs International, said on Tuesday the decision to relocate workers was part of the bank’s contingency plan for the UK leaving the EU. “We are going to start to execute those contingency plans”, he told CNBC.
Gnodde said the bank, which employs 6,000 staff in the capital, would take extra office space in Frankfurt and Paris.

Ah yes, Goldman Sach’s one of the first to wrap up their ‘toxic debt’ and sell it on as safe investments!
One of the main culprits for OUR years of struggle and austerity while they suffered naught!
Criminal scum as far as I’m concerned!
I don’t suppose the Daily Express, the Daily Mail, the Sun or the equally nasty Daily Telegraph will report any this story.
Wonder how many staff agree with Davies and May’s “no deal is better than a bad deal?”
Well, look at what’s happened now after Thatcher destroyed our manufacturing base in order to favour her financial spiv cronies. The rats really are now deserting the sinking Brexit ship. Looks like Mayhem and Hammond are now following Thatcher’s example but this time turning the City of London into a world-class centre for laundering dirty money even more that it is already, as well as a no-questions-asked tax haven. Hence the Tory intention to destroy the Welfare State and NHS.
So they are doing what they had planned all along, after all why move before they know what is going to be the outcome as we haven’t even triggered Article 50, and started negotiations yet? The use of Brexit as an excuse is exactly that it makes it look like they are being forced to do what they intended to do.
Good Riddance to bad rubbish, don’t bother letting them come back
