Tory tweeter who compared Corbyn event with Nazi rallies is owned by anonymous Labour spokesperson
This is the way to put down a mouthy Tory keyboard warrior. Check out the Labour spokesman’s comment at the end of this extract:
A Conservative councillor has come under fire for a Twitter comment in which he compared the huge turnout at Jeremy Corbyn’s rallies with Nazi gatherings under Hitler.
Cllr Chris Steward, a former City of York Council leader, has been criticised, with a call for him to apologise, after he wrote the comment about popular rallies held by the Labour leader.
“You can judge mass attendance at rallies as the proof of a great leader if you want, I will judge their views,” he tweeted, alongside an image of a Nazi gathering.
A Labour spokesman [said]: “The fact that this Tory councillor thinks this is the appropriate reaction to a politician from another party being listened to, speaks volumes about why his party is not.”

I rewatched part of the film Gandhi the other day – there is a scene where Gandhi arrives somewhere on the same train as a British official (travelling in 3rd class instead of 1st) and the Brits stand there wondering who the crowds are waiting for – maybe a better analogy than Hitler rallies if you’re looking for exaggerated historical references ;)
Nice one.
Hear hear.
Clear as a bell that Tories are scared of Labour’s resurgence and terrified of its new popularity. Cant match ’em? Slag ’em off
Have there been rallies this summer? Nothing in the MSM about them if so. Quel surprise.
