Do you believe Jeremy Hunt’s mealy-mouthed excuse for the 10,000 extra deaths this year?
This Site reported recently that 10,375 more people died in the first seven weeks of 2018 than the average over the same period in the previous five years.
Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt had an opportunity to account for this 12.4 per cent increase in Parliament yesterday (March 21) – but instead gave a pathetic excuse. Here it is:
Jeremy Hunt could provide no explanation as to why in England & Wales there have been 10,000 more deaths in first 7 weeks of 2018 vs same period last year. Deaths cannot be linked to flu, weather, or ageing population, but *do* coincide with unprecedented pressure on hospitals. pic.twitter.com/KEMblO6sI2

I would like to see those Age-Standardised Mortality figures.
Public Health England’s own statistics for the first weeks of the year all say the same thing: “Statistically significant excess all-cause mortality by week of death was observed overall.”
I think Mr Hunt was lying – or at least making another of the statistical errors for which he has become justly infamous. What do YOU think?

THE MURDER OF THE BRITISH PEOPLE BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT
I have that as a headline for an article
Want to write it Mike?
I am busy with a court case which wants to hang draw and quarter me and silence me and everyone else from writing, recording and chronicling the TRUTH!
I’ve been writing that article for nearly five years now!
And doing a very fine job of it too Mr Sivier if you don’t mind me saying so. All power to your writing elbow and just hope you can keep going for a bit longer. The pressure out there is not easing on elderly people: particularly the elderly in so called ‘sheltered housing’. Many of these will also have been affected by all the welfare cuts over recent years. Ongoing cuts to Local Government budgets and the Government’s rent increase embargo simply means that Housing Associations are massively increasing their ‘service charges’ which on the face of it looks like a real racket. This might be going on everywhere or just certain areas but certainly Central Government, Local Government and the Housing Associations are ‘all in this together’.
To your headline question: Of course I believe Hunt. I believed Blair and Bush over WMD and the Putin personally manufactured and distributed a nerve agent in Salisbury
