Has it not occurred to you, Alan, that his use of the word “whining” may have been merely his interpretation of the way feminists behave, and that he was attaching his remarks to ALL feminists, whether they were MPs or not?

In fairness, I think it’s worthwhile to encourage discussion, especially with people who take a different point of view. If you can point out where their logic may have failed them (or they can do the same for you) then there’s an opportunity to persuade people around to your point of view.
That’s why I said what I did about this.

Ultimately whining is usually a person who ahs an opinion and won’t give it up when told. So on that basis a femnist will almost certainly be a whining one, in that they probably don’t take the crud lying down and- gosh- dare to complain about it.

It’s hard to discuss this in abstract terms. If we had a concrete example we all recognised as having taken place, we could perhaps reach some conclusion but at the moment, I am only prepared to agree that nobody needs to accept anything as fact without verification.
Well, that’s not going to gather in the female vote for the Tories with views like that. I think he’ll be called to Conservative Central Office and told off-hopefully by a woman.

Being nosy :) I had a quick look at his blog – he certainly likes to write about violence – maybe it’s poem or maybe it’s supposed to be some kind of song? The part about wanting to cut the bitches throat shows what kind of person he actually is. After all, poems and songs are supposed to be written from the heart?
I had a quick look too, and noticed that the most recent entry was from last year. Times and attitudes change, so perhaps we should not judge anyone based on this.
