having done some extensive research on workfare (starting with Wisconsin workfare) I came to the conclusion (as did the authors) that it was a waste of time, so why are the govt flogging a dead horse for all they are worth.

It’s probably a waste of time for the workers, but not for the companies.

Just musing late at night…Does anyone know a single tory voter suffering under workfare/sanctions who has spoken out against it? Wonder why not?
