David Cameron REFUSES to answer if he lied about Lord Ashcroft’s ‘nom dom’ tax status

Last Updated: October 15, 2015By

Squirming David Cameron dodged mounting questions over whether he lied about Tory billionaire Lord Ashcroft ’s ‘non-dom’ tax status.

Grilled at Prime Minister’s Questions, Mr Cameron would not say if he told “porkies” about the Tory mega-donor’s tax affairs.

His Tory spokesman was then asked ELEVEN times by hacks exactly when the PM learned Lord Ashcroft was a non-dom.

Eleven times the spokesman failed to give a straight answer.

“It’s beginning to look like the Prime Minister has got something to hide,” raged Labour’s shadow cabinet minister Jon Ashworth.

A refusal to answer is tantamount to an admission. Just like the long-delayed denial of the pig’s head incident. The man is corrupt and thoroughly dishonest.

Apart from his being seen to turn an illegal blind eye to his parties benefactors’ tax affairs, it just reflects the Tory double standards and how they can bend the rules to suit themselves and their greed whereas the rank ‘n file have to pay their taxes off their payslips without any scams to reduce their tax burden. Maybe those memories of the poll tax riots may be revisited shortly if he keeps this up.

He should be MADE to answer, not dodging the question because he doesn’t feel like it, other politicians, the press and the public should MAKE him answer!

They have evidently realised that it is better for them to remain silent and thus to let people think that they are lying fools, than to answer the questions and thereby remove any remaining doubt.

So yes then… It’s been pointed out before, but if Cameron’s enemies dodge tax he critises them, but if it’s a friend of his, then it’s none of his business (interesting angle to take considering he’s the First Lord of the Treasury).
