Why would I want to speak to them?
What could they possibly have to say that would be of any interest to me?

they are nothing like bill gates mike at least bill engages with people all be-it from a distance

i known people like these types mike and i tell you now i have yet to meet one who would engage in a conversation they always leave everything to others to deal with

I’m surprised by their wealth thou as the likes of Michael Ashley are very very private and very rarley seen by anyone

I’m not surprised at their extreme reluctance to have anything to do with the public, Nick. There’s a Science Fiction story from the 1960s called ‘The Totally Rich’, about the extremely wealthy, who are so rich the places they live do not appear on maps.

Mike, your comment about not really having anything to talk to the extremely wealthy about reminds me of a comment by one woman about the Austro-Hungarian nobility. I’ve forgotten precisely who the lady was, but she said it was a pity that the aristos express their thoughts in eight languages when they had so few thoughts to express.
