How about the full account, as there is more to this than meets the eye.
(1). Why was his job seekers allowance stopped?
(2). Why did he not apply for Income Support?
(3). Why was the rent not being paid by the council?
(4). Why did he fill a trolley, take it outside, knowing he would be stopped? A stunt to get noticed, because he wishes to stand out from the crowd?
Every day immigrants steal loads of food from supermarkets, and the middle classes also steal food, and both have sufficient to pay for it. So why do they not pay for it? Because they wish to keep a life style up, which saving upon money does when stealing goods from shops, just as much as MPs steal money from us
Immigrants steal from supermarkets every day, do they? Don’t you think that’s a bit of a racist statement?
Middle classes steal food too, do they? Where’s your proof of that?
What a shame you had to ruin your comment with this distasteful material at the end. The four questions were interesting.
There are many reasons used to stop someones benefit, some extremely petty and sometimes its done due to a mistake by the benefits agency!
You cant apply for income support if you are sanctioned also maybe he didn’t know, as they don’t tell you, that he can get his housing benefit reinstated due to nil income, you have to go to the council office and fill out a form…oh you will probably need money to travel there…that he doesn’t have due to the sanction!
As for filling the trolley and taking it out maybe it was an act of desperation not a publicity stunt.
