My debut book “Austerity: The Demolition of the Welfare State and the Rise of the Zombie Economy” hits the shelves today, published by New Internationalist, writes Kerry-Anne Mendoza in Scriptonite Daily.
This is not a case of poor people suffering austerity while the wealthiest live large. It is a case of poor people suffering austerity in order that the wealthy live large. It is time to reject outright the politics and the economics of austerity – and instead work together to build a world that works for everyone.
Vox Political has no financial interest in this book – but this site does have a personal interest in encouraging political books by bloggers or anyone else who isn’t directly linked to the vested interests that currently run the UK and the wider world. The more unique perspectives we get, the better we are able to understand exactly what is really going on – at least that’s the theory.
Why not nip over to Scriptonite and see about picking up a copy?
