Cameron says Labour is ‘clear threat to the security of British families’. Pot, kettle, black

On the eve of the announcement of the new Labour leader, David Cameron is set to launch a scathing attack on the party, branding them “a clear threat to the security of British families”.

The Prime Minister is expected to say: “Whoever wins the Labour leadership tomorrow, this is now a party that has completely vacated the intellectual playing field and no longer represents working people.”

Phew, what a loonie!

Against that, let’s set the words of a Vox Political commenter, who pointed out: “The man is off his rocker!”

Correct.

“Look a little closer to your own home, Cameron – and tell me that IDS isn’t a ‘threat’ to British Families! Or should I just translate it to English, and that what you mean is ‘you’ feel threatened that your corruption and deals will be ever more exposed and loss of your own insatiable hunger for power?

“Syrians last week, Labour this week, is there anyone you’re not afraid of outside of your own bubble?”

He’s afraid of quite a few inside that bubble, methinks. One of whom has already been mentioned, judging by his miraculous ability to sidestep the bullet.

everyone need to remember that Cameron favours ” Blue Sky Thinking ” in situations like this. Interestingly

The is the google top link for “blue sky thinking” states that Blue Sky Thinking is thinking that is not grounded or in touch in the realities of the present. says it all really… .

I heard Priti Patel earlier using much the same lines of attack, although with her customary stupidity and lack of grace. This is going to be the message from Tory HQ it seems.

    Let’s see what PMQs brings…

The Tory ploy of a “threat to national security” was tried against Clement Attlee and his Labour Party by Churchill and his Tories during the 1945 general election. The results of that election showed that the British people knew the claim to be arrant nonsense.
