War propaganda begins: UK airstrikes hit Syrian oil field already “obliterated” | Pride’s Purge

Bombs explode in Syria. Effect on the terrorists: None.

Bombs explode in Syria. Effect on the terrorists: None.

On the 23rd of October, the UK press reported that Russian and US planes had completely “obliterated” the Omar oil field in Syria which is under the control of Daesh:

“The terrorists’ oil field in eastern Syria was obliterated in a day of bombing conducted by both Russia and the US-led coalition. US operations officer Major Michael Filanowski told reporters in Baghdad the Omar oil field was blitzed, heavily damaging the lucrative funding source for ISIS.”

But today the same press is reporting the same “obliterated” oil field was hit by UK airstrikes:

“Four Tornados took off from RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus just an hour after MPs voted in favour of launching airstrikes in the war-torn country. The jets struck targets in the Omar oil field in Eastern Syria, dealing a “real blow” to the death cult, also known as Daesh.”

The first casualty of war is always the truth…

The 1984 syndrome springs to mind , control propaganda is the must of the day as has been for the last 20 years, now we can expect or daily if not hourly war updates with no independent confirmation of the details , again we are going to get the ceremonial military daily so called detailed up dates and blow by blow bombing sorties with the added long range film footage of exploding bombs to placate there ardent following, it seems that we have been down this road so many times in the last 40 years or so.,lets hope the pilots of these bombing sorties can sleep a night when they realise that most of there victims are innocent people , the monsters have always a way of hiding themselves from adversity .

Personally, I don’t believe a word of the propaganda spun by our Government. They don’t know the meaning of the word truth.

Is it actually worth taking notice of anything that comes out of the media these days especially from this war zone.. It was pretty obvious there would be a quick fix Syria mission waiting for the telephone to ring but if they truly bombed a target that was obliterated that was a waste of time, money and more important putting pilots lives at risk for a low priority bit of political gaming. The UK planes are now operating in an area that is a higher risk of friendly and hostile fire the last thing we need is another jordanian pilot situation…….
