The Crown Prosecution Service has cleared the way for each Police Force to consider prosecuting 26 Tory MPs for electoral fraud.

But here’s an important question:

Should parliament be called into recess while this is sorted out, to make sure no further business may be completed with the help of people who gained their Parliamentary seats fraudulently?

…a long way to go from “considering what action to take” to fraud, unfortunately. What if 3 end up proven fraud and the rest as “genuine” mistakes? So many what-ifs to consider that hope is the only option currently and the status quo is thus maintained.
How many of the seats are marginals? How many are secure Tory seats?

They must act in the “national interest” and not in the minority interests of the corrupt Tory Party. The fact that they won the last General Election by blatant cheating goes a long way in explaining why the Tories now do not even try to hide their corruption.

Yes. And if it’s discovered that the Tories gained a majority illegally, everything they have voted through since coming in to power last year should be repealed. Unfortunately, it’s not going to happen though.

To damn right they should be charged and imprisoned, I totally agree with Tom above.

I think parliamentary business should continue, but with the alleged fraudsters excluded from the house. This would encourage a speedy resolution – or a vote of no confidence.
