Dyfed Powys Police take note: You’ll be the laughing-stock of the UK because you can’t do a job all the others are taking on.

Allegations of electoral fraud in the 2015 General Election are being investigated by Sussex Police following complaints about the Conservative campaign.

The Liberal Democrats have complained the campaign in the Lewes constituency may have broken election rules.

A police spokesman confirmed an investigation has begun.

Conservative candidate Maria Caulfield beat the sitting Lib Dem MP Norman Baker in last year’s election.

The sheer scale of the Tory cheating and fraud is breathtaking. It cannot have happened in so many places by accident, it must have been planned from the top.

Doesn`t take the Lib Dems long to jump on a band wagon does it,but then, why spoil the habit of a life time? That aside, given the amount of ballot papers that went missing just east of Lewes prior to the election, somewhere in the region of 200,000.nothing would surprise me any more.In an ideal world, the election would have been declared void with a re-run.At the very least, the whole fiasco serves to remind us just how dirty British politics have become.
