Liam Fox’s faux pas about fat and lazy business people on the golf course seems far more suited to MPs, it seems.
This Writer is accumulating stories and photos of MPs on the golf course – none of which play very well for those concerned.
Above we see Dr Fox himself (right), being fat and lazy on a golf course.
I also enjoyed very much the following story about Montgomeryshire MP Glyn Davies – an acquaintance of mine when we were both in previous jobs – written in his own words.
Yes indeed. Dr Fox is already being described as the Gerald Ratner of politics (Mr Ratner nearly killed his own jewellery company stone dead by admitting it was “crap”; now Dr Fox has talked down the value of British business while doing a job that requires him to promote those businesses abroad) and it is an appropriate comparison.
His words, it seems, are more accurately applied to Conservative MPs.
