Ethnic minority homeless has soared under the Tories. Doesn’t this mean Conservatives are racists?

Do I have to spell out the logical conclusion? It is that the Conservatives have deliberately targeted ethnic minority groups, creating policies designed to push them into destitution.

In short: Tories are racists.

Or are any of you bold enough to suggest that this is accidental?

My question now is: If you belong to an ethnic minority group, would you vote Conservative in the knowledge that they have deliberately done this?

Homelessness among ethnic minorities has reached the highest level in more than a decade and has rocketed since the Conservatives came to power in 2010, The Independent can reveal.

A new analysis of official statistics shows 5,030 black and minority ethnic (BAME) households were categorised as homeless between July and September 2016 – up from 3,310 during the same period in 2010.

It means the number of BAME households being accepted as homeless has risen four times faster than among other groups.

Between the summer of 2010, shortly after the Conservatives took office, and the summer of 2016 homelessness among BAME households increased by 52 per cent, compared with 13 per among people classed as “White British”.

Ethnic minorities now account for up to 40 per cent of all homeless households in England, despite being just 15 per cent of the population.

The rise was particularly stark among Asians/British Asians, where homelessness increased by 82 per cent in just six years. Among Black/Black British people, homelessness increased by 40 per cent, while 42 per cent more people classed as ‘Chinese or Other Ethnic Group’ were declared homeless. People of mixed ethnicity saw a 63 per cent increase.

As always we can not take anything based solely on percentages as a good basis to make assumptions without the data that goes with the numbers after all 82% of 10 is far less than 1% of a million

I’m starting to think I was right about filling in the “ethnic Status” on all official forms would become suspect, that is why, if I can I ignore it. One government might use it for statistics, but other governments will use it as a weapon.

Tories are rascist to their backbone. Guess its hardwired into them since before slave-owning days. Unless of course the ‘others’ are wealthy in which case they can be used until their wealth is gone. just think what the British did in the days of their Indian adventures. Some indiviual tory types may be more ‘enlightened’ in their ways but not many.

And there will probably be more increases as landlords react to the Government penal attacks on their rental profits either by renters putting up the rents even higher or more likely just moving out of the market causing more vacumn. Yup agree there are some really bad uns in private rental however there are many good ones just trying to make some honest money to help their pensions but being put off by the Government moves to rake in some Government income from their profit. If the Government got on with building social housing instead of just yapping on about how good they are in promoting housing instead of building them things might get better. Councils are broke they will never reinvest the sold council stock money in new properties.

Surely it’s a Universal Truth that all Tories are and forever will be racists. But why single out just one undesirable trait when they are the personification of all evil?
