Are the Tories actually proud of this?

In the same month the Israel Defence Force killed dozens of people and injured thousands more, it turns out the UK has increased its sales of arms to that country by more than £140 million.

Our exports of deadly weapons to the country that has terrorised, mutilated and killed weaponless people… nearly tripled.

Were our weapons involved in the Gaza Massacre?

Well, was it?

The UK should not be selling any weapons to a country whose government targets the innocent and kills them for fun.

But then, the UK has a government run by Conservatives, and Tories have no moral compass whatsoever.

Their god is money. They couldn’t care less about the lives of other people. Especially, as we have learned since the racist “hostile environment” policy became public knowledge, people from other countries and cultures.

They do not represent me. How about you?

British defence contractors are selling record amounts of arms to Israel, new figures reveal.

Figures from the Campaign Against Arms Trade reveal that last year the UK issued £221m worth of arms licences to defence companies exporting to Israel. This made Israel the UK’s eighth largest market for UK arms companies, a huge increase on the previous year’s figure of £86m, itself a substantial rise on the £20m worth of arms licensed in 2015.

In total, over the past five years, Israel has bought more than £350m worth of UK military hardware.
