Weak PMQs performance will only fuel Tory plans to backstab Theresa May

Last Updated: June 6, 2018By

Theresa May: Brexit will bring her down.

Her days as prime minister are numbered – and that number may not even be in double-figures.

Messages started appearing on Twitter last night (June 5) suggesting that the Conservative Party has finally had enough of Mrs May’s inability to lead, fudging, and can-kicking. Here’s Robert Peston:

Those votes will be on the EU Withdrawal Bill, which returns to the Commons next week.

Fellow New Left Media site Evolve Politics published an article headlined “Vote of No Confidence imminent as Senior Tory May-loyalist now says ‘She has to go’”. The article stated that the latest attack is “pushing the number of signatures needed to secure a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister to the tipping point”.

It pointed out: “The signatures of just 48 Tory MPs on a letter handed to party Chairman Brandon Lewis (pictured) would be needed to bring a Vote of No Confidence in the Prime Minister before Parliament, and today’s revelations could easily now mean that the figure can be reached.”

Mrs May’s weakness at Prime Minister’s Questions can only have worsened her position.

I was commenting on her performance and – well, see for yourself:

“Weak, weak, weak.” Weren’t those the words with which Tony Blair dismissed John Major’s failed government in 1997?

Let’s hope Tweezer will be out on her ear in a similar manner before the summer break.

Wish they’d hurry up and stab her – in the back, front or side.

Mike what happens when TM is ousted, do we get another GE or is it another Tory leadership battle?

Leadership battle – unless the Tories are stupid enough to upset the DUP. I think they are.
I’d say a leadership battle at first, possibly leading to an election.
