Who do you admire more – fake ‘Kate Adie’ or the traffic warden who ticketed ‘Tommy Robinson’?
If you’re looking for a story that hilariously spotlights the insanity into which UK politics has fallen, here it is: Far-right supporters of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, the activist who was convicted for contempt of court yesterday (July 5), have been praising BBC stalwart Kate Adie for supporting him.
The trouble is, it’s a fake Twitter account and all they have done is set themselves up for more ridicule.
Meanwhile, the traffic warden who ticketed Yaxley-Lennon’s bus while it was parked outside the Old Bailey has received well-deserved plaudits.
Here’s how it unravelled on Twitter – with video evidence:
Fake Kate Adie account really reeling in the Tommy Twitter Brigade… a trainee reporter on their first day knows this isn’t true, yet they gobble it up. pic.twitter.com/tyQG3RAMjR

Here’s a trainee reporter who did gobble it up – right-wing hack James Delingpole:
Thought it was obviously a fake account for a moment but thankfully this confirms it is the real Kate Adie. pic.twitter.com/fls2HEbOfA

His editors should probably check his credentials before letting him write anything else. Thankfully other people got the point:

The whole farrago culminated with this:
I’m Kate Adie yes I’m the real Adie
All you other Kate Adies are just imitating
So won’t the real Kate Adie please stand up. pic.twitter.com/Yz60l9JhZC— Mike Hunt (@baloo_moon) July 6, 2019
Meanwhile, outside the Old Bailey…

I’m sure the courts said no photographs or reporting, but then, who am I to question why photos of the odd tea leaf as they are going into court is actually the same as the case of these vile people.
There are many thousands of photographs of people entering the court house before trial, the only reason that idiot wanted to film it was to create hatred, thank goodness those who were accused had the protection of the courts otherwise justice by mob rule would have been the outcome, and of course, the hatred of similar persons would have escalated.
The UK is in a sad place, we need to get a grip.
Easy question – the traffic warden is my choice.
If justice is served Yaxley-Lennon won’t be needing any vehicles for the next two years.
