These ‘architects of misery’ are not the answer to Brexit
With the Liberal Democrats making so much noise about not supporting a Corbyn-led government to stop “no-deal” Brexit, it’s worth watching this from Owen Jones, on Double Down News:
“We would not be in this crisis without the Lib Dems.”
“Not repentant, by the way.”
“Think of the bedroom tax, when grieving parents after their kid died had a spare room, then they had to pay the bedroom tax.”
“Think of the disabled people, who had their benefits stripped away from them.”
“Think of the privatisation of the National Health Service.”
“Think of those tax cuts – for the rich.”
“All of those policies backed, voted for, implemented by Lib Dem MPs and ministers.”
And yet now they are trying to set themselves up as kingmakers.
There are only – what – 13 of them in the House of Commons.
They are negligible.
Stop supporting them and get behind someone who can implement real change.
