Scottish Tory leader set to quit over Dictator Johnson’s Brexit strategy – and you say Corbyn is divisive?
Boris Johnson’s decision to silence Parliament in order to push through his idiotic “no deal” Brexit is splitting the Conservative Party.
Ruth Davidson, leader of the Scottish Tories, seems likely to quit tomorrow (August 29) over Dictator Johnson’s behaviour.
Who knows how many other Conservatives are similarly incensed by what Commons Speaker (and a Conservative MP) John Bercow has called a “constitutional outrage”?
But let’s not forget that Jeremy Corbyn is the party leader who’s supposed to be so divisive he shouldn’t be prime minister, right?
Ruth Davidson is on the verge of quitting as leader of the Scottish Conservatives, BBC Scotland understands.
Ms Davidson has been deeply unhappy with the prime minister’s pursuit of a possible no-deal Brexit.
She is said to be considering her position, with a statement on her future likely to be made on Thursday.

what good does it do resigning? surely they are better placed if on the inside not the outside of their party…… the conservatives are the divisive ones. they and ukip and the rest of the leavers.i lost one friend a few weeks ago over her “feeling” that corbyn is wrong as labour leader. first she said he was ill, then not right in the head. now theres something wrong but she doesnt know what. but hes not fit to be labour leader let alone PM.and she says she wont vote for him even though she wont vote tory… now im on the verge of ME saying bye bye to another friend. this one is one of 30 years standing. because everytime i put anything on fb thats my opinion or a political share she has to challenge it. every time i put something on that im sharing from elsewhere…same thing. she never used to be like this. she always thought same as me.used to help out at the same unemployed workers centre i worked at thats how we met. but since her marriage shes got more n more like a tory in her thinking and what she says. as an ex nurse, like me, and a volunteer at that centre she, like me, has been involved in looking after the sick and disabled. in sorting out benefits, housing and other problems brought on when someone loses their job, or becomes ill or has an accident at work or elsewhere. disabled people trying to stay in work or unable to work. yet for some reason beyond me she has become so militant as to be almost verbally abusive towards me. had someone not long ago accuse her of bullying me. ive tried to remain friends, but its getting harder n harder now. so yes conservatives as a whole are guilty of being divisive.
And what a pathetic resignation it was too. Supports Boris and wants to spend more time with her family!
Good riddance to ‘Rape Clause’ Ruth:

Her speech contradicts yesterday’s assumptions.
