#AllegraStratton resigns. Will #BorisJohnson follow?
Allegra Stratton has resigned over the video of her laughing and joking about the Downing Street Christmas party.
According to the BBC, she delivered a “tearful” statement in which she claimed she would “regret the remarks for the rest of my days”.
That says to me that she doesn’t regret being involved in an illegal event, or in the cover-up that followed.
No – she only regrets being caught.
She’ll undoubtedly try to squirrel herself away somewhere the Metropolitan Police can’t find her.
And there’s still no word from Cressida Dick about whether the Met will launch a criminal inquiry (which should have been ordered without a second thought).
They’d better get a statement plus contact details out of her double-quick.
Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

Silly cow. Do you really feel sorry for those so called tears ?
I suspect the immediate action will be to ban all recording devices from No 10 to avoid getting caught again.
Rather than actually behave themselves and act like responsible adults…..
Allegra Stratton is a subordinate so fact she resigned is not news. What would be news is if that little fascist dictator duck johnson immediately resigned not only as a fake prime minister but also as an MP! Duck johnson is not fit to be an MP because he is a serial crook and liar who as usual lets his subordinates be held responsible whilst he still claims in Parliament no less, that ‘hey I’m as shocked as you stupid peasants so don’t expect me to take responsibility!
Do not forget duck johnson yes that fascist dictator lives at number 10 so no way did he not know about this party held by his arrogant subordinates. The subordinates do what they see their male fascist tory master enacting – subordinates see so subordinates copy fascist duck johnson!
“No – she only regrets being caught.”
Yes, that is correct.
And here is some more of Allegra Stratton’s handiwork:
