Tanking like his economy: Sunak plunges from top to bottom of Tory popularity chart
Isn’t it odd that Tories support their lying, cheating, corrupt MPs… right up until they get caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
Rishi Sunak is a classic example. Last month he was at the top of the ConservativeHome popularity chart, with a net rating of 7.9.
Then his wife was alleged to be avoiding paying millions of pounds in tax – as was Sunak himself.
And then he was fined for attending the lockdown-busting Downing Street parties.
And now Sunak is at the bottom of the same chart, with a net rating of minus 5.2.
Well-deserved!

But it isn’t HIS economy is it? He isn’t affected by hardship, poverty and despair. It’s OUR economy and it’s killing us. It’s only HIS economy in the sense that, like the remainder of this corrupt government, it’s available for milking.
It’s also his economy in the sense that, as Chancellor, he is responsible for the direction it takes.
