Is the Conservative Party splitting over fracking?

Last Updated: September 22, 2022By Tags: , , , , ,

This is what fracking is: It has the potential to cause huge harm.

The return to fracking by Liz Truss and her government won’t relieve the energy crisis – and it seems Conservative MPs know it.

Is a split opening up within the Tory Party?

I offer this clip for your consideration:

Ah well – we can still laugh about it:

Can’t we?

I suspect that the split is not based upon ideaology or the protection of the public and environment, it’s the Tories we are talking about here.
I believe the root of the division is who didn’t invest their cash into Fracking after Cameron’s lobbying pitch and those who did, demanding a return on their investment.
The fact that Reece Mogg is pathetically trying to blame the Russians for disinformation would suggest that he is of the latter group.

‘Not in our constituencies’ say the backbench fascist tories! Fracking will happen and the back bench fascist tories will lose their seats at next election because their constituents don’t want earthquakes!

Typical arrogance from Rees-Mogg (sic) why would he bother to even respond to a back bench fascist tory question! No Rees-Mogg and his corporate energy cronies are only focused on increasing their wealth and they don’t care about destroying local environments and contaminating water. After all ‘earthquakes are nothing to worry about says Rees-Mogg!’ So I hope he experiences one on his lavish property!
