Are the Tories trying to rig postal votes in the May elections?

The ballot box: This is still the most secure way of voting – putting it in the box yourself. But many people cannot attend on the day, which is why postal voting is allowed. Is the practice being abused – by the party in power?

Do you have a postal vote or are you applying for one?

Consider this:

Doubts over whether postal vote applications being sent to thousands of homes across the country by the Conservatives are being handled legally have been raised by the Electoral Commission.

Applications are being returned to local party associations, rather than local councils, causing concern that some people may not be able to vote at the forthcoming local elections in May.

There are also concerns among voters that Conservatives are using the forms to harvest their data.

Am I right in my recollection that postal voting has not been affected by recent Tory “Voter ID” legislation? If so, is this the reason?

Perhaps people who have used this Tory system should contact their local council and check that their application is being processed.

The tories are the party of crime and corruption…..They belong in prison, not in Parliament!

Neither Sunak’s tory criminal cartel, or Starmer’s fake labour, tory party can be trusted.
