Is ConservativeHome’s Henry Hill the new hero of British politics?
Politics in the UK seems to have an unlikely new hero in the shape of ConservativeHome’s deputy editor, Henry Hill.
In his latest appearance on the BBC’s Politics Live, he managed to CONVINCINGLY rubbish current Tory leader and prime minister Rishi Sunak.
He went on to trash former PM Boris Johnson.
And for good measure, he made mincemeat out of Nadine Dorries as well.
But before we get too excited, let’s just remember that he is a Conservative, and while we can now see who he’s against, this says nothing about what he is for.

I’ve been seeing quite a lot of ConservativeHome…. On the Tory-dominated BBC for many months now. It seems to be the Keeper of The Holy Grail (as imagined by the Extreme Right Group). Purist to the max, not really living in the real world.
It’s a bit like allowing the SWP to critique Labour.
Of course it’s possible for us to agree with each other about people or events being good or bad, right or wrong – but for different reasons.
