Sunak brought to book over absences from Parliament
Yes, the clip is six and a half minutes long, but watch it and enjoy Rishi Sunak’s discomfort at being reminded of his personal failures and cowardices in finding excuses not to turn up at Parliament for vote after vote.
Here’s a graphic showing part of the PM’s shame – courtesy of the Guido Fawkes blog that was once so staunchly in support of a Tory government:

Mhairi Black is quitting as an MP at next general election
Tragic news. pic.twitter.com/W0Ud7wfF2d

Her politics isn’t mine, but This Writer does believe that Westminster needs many more people like Mhairi Black, and not one fewer.
Is this the real reason Labour abstained on anti-BDS Bill?
The reason Labour abstained on the anti-BDS bill is simple: that’s what they were instructed to do by the Israel lobby: this Labour document I obtained last year proves it. See my full report: https://t.co/4Cqy4WHeo7 pic.twitter.com/hPwA1S0YZY

Lords overturn government on Migration Bill – 11 TIMES
House of Lords has defeated Suella Braverman’s cruel and unfair Illegal Migration Bill. A victory for human rights pic.twitter.com/j5UyCU6tZx
— Diane Abbott MP (@HackneyAbbott) June 29, 2023
Yes, the Lords inflicted 11 defeats. Notably, they voted against government plans to weaken detention limits for children and pregnant women in its migration bill, and to ban the deportation of LGBT migrants to nations including Rwanda.
The reversals may themselves be reversed when the Bill goes back to the Commons – but Suella Braverman and her PM Rishi Sunak face the possibility of rebellion from among their own ranks.

This is one of the many reasons why the House Of Lords should remain, it does need a clear-out though due to the Johnsonite regime but a lot of what they do does benefit the UK.
