What next for Scotland after Humza Yousaf’s resignation as First Minister?
He has gone, leaving a vacuum at the top of the Scottish Parliament:

What next?
A minority government led by the SNP seems unlikely to succeed as the other parties are desperate to drag down the nationalists.
Labour and the Tories are uniting in electoral areas across Scotland in bids to oust SNP incumbents – a move that disgraces both parties.
The simple fact is that no Labour politician worth anybody’s vote would ally with a Tory for any reason, nor would any Tory link up with Labour.
Sadly, tribal ‘drone’ voters will support them because they don’t know any better.
But there are opportunities for others here. I wonder if Scotland is about to join the groundswell of support for left-wing Independents?
