Firstly, Rishi Sunak’s claim is based on a completely false idea of how the UK’s economy works.
Secondly, he had to roll up expenditure for four years to get his figure.
And finally, as we pay different amounts of tax, according to our income, no claim that we’ll all pay the same amount is ever accurate.

All things considered, it would probably be best to leave Labour and the Tories to squabble among themselves in their childish little play-pit.
