Nobody really cares that there’s a leadership election going on.

Four people are left in it, although we all know it’s going to be between Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch; Tom Tugendhat and James Cleverly will be eliminated by their fellow Conservative MPs in the next two voting rounds.
Then it will be a matter for the party membership that voted Liz Truss in, last time they had a chance.
Mind you, if it’s a choice between Jenrick and Badenoch, it won’t make much difference who they support. Perhaps that’s why nobody cares.
