Keir Starmer has repaid a tiny fraction of the freebies he has received

Starmer had another £16k worth of freebie clothes and lied about it

Keir Starmer [pictured, wearing glasses that were probably donated to him] had another £16,000 worth of clothes from his friend and donor Lord Waheed Alli – and disguised the donation, according to The Guardian.

That paper says the cash was initially declared as money for his private office as leader of the opposition.

The gifts were £10,000 in October 2023 and £6,000 in February this year. They were declared on time, but will now be re-categorised as donations in kind of clothing after Downing Street sought advice over the donations.

According to the BBC,

Sir Keir has insisted he has always followed the rules.

But that can’t be true if he’s just had to re-categorise two donations to him.

And now he’s saying,

“I won’t be making declarations in relation to clothing again, understood.”

That’s not the same as saying he won’t be taking donations of clothing, though – is it?

We’re all going to have to keep a watchful eye on Cheating Keir.
