Starmer’s lockdown gaffe casts questions on his worth as a leader – because he keeps ignoring rules that apply to him.
This Writer has only one real comment, but it should cast Starmer’s entire tenure as leader into sharp relief:
Do you think Jeremy Corbyn would ever have done anything so daft?

Here’s what has apparently been going on:
Sir Keir Starmer has been accused of breaking lockdown rules when a voice coach came to Labour headquarters during COVID.
The Labour Party has denied the prime minister breached COVID rules in December 2020 for employing actress and voice coach Leonie Mellinger to help him prepare a response to Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal.
[It is alleged that] she qualified for “key worker” status and visited the Labour Party’s headquarters on 24 December 2020 wearing a face mask.
One can’t avoid comparing this with Boris Johnson’s misbehaviours during lockdown. Both seem to have flouted the rules; both seem to have thought they were above the restrictions placed on the rest of us.
Johnson was judged and dismissed from politics. And Starmer?
