Pat McFadden, Labour’s new Work and Pensions Secretary, is reviving the same Tory lies that devastated sick and disabled people for more than a decade.
He calls the benefits system “unhealthy”. We know what that really means: harsher rules, hostile reforms, and renewed cruelty — all to plug Rachel Reeves’ Budget black hole.
And Labour told us it would leave sick and disabled people alone until at least autumn next year.
