London Tories threaten break from main party ahead of local election wipeout
Let’s all leave them to it, then.
And hope any breakaway group elects Zac ‘Islamophobic campaign’ Goldsmith as its figurehead.
The Conservatives in London have reportedly held secret discussions about a potential breakaway from the national party, amid fears of an electoral wipeout in the local elections next month.
Senior Tories have hosted a series of meetings over the past year in order to draw up plans for a separate party which would boast its own brand, policies and figurehead separate to Theresa May.
The disclosure is deeply embarrassing for Mrs May, who is braced for the party’s worst performance in the capital in its 184-year history, when the ballots are cast next month.

WOW!
I was still thinking last night and this morning that I cannot vote for my local Labour as they offered to Glass me in the Face and lost me my licence for standing up for women’s safety at night in the town. and participated in evictions of the most vulnerable….. and the rest of this shower.
But this govt is so awful and incompetent and seem a Joke Administration something has to happen for the good of us all
and that is where we are not left, not right, not upper or lower, not black or white not male or female just people who are passionate about this country and people and what is happening and want to make a difference and stabilise this chaos.
Watched The China Hustle on netflix, where again financial investors and sellers of investors after the 2008 crash just made a false non existent market in China persuaded many people to now invest in China, non went to the industry or business but they won when price went up and then they, the charlatan investors shot their own investments down.
WE HAVE NO CHANCE WITH THESE SHYSTERS IN CONTROL all people, business and countries, even mighty and big China and the EU and Britain are just things to mess around so they get a quick short return.
People need to come together it is not left or right, tory or socialist we are all being ripped off by these people and lives and countries and economies destroyed – we need all to come together.
Very interesting some good informative documentaries on netflix.
I am trying to raise a few thousand to move to a safer area. I wish I had their cheek and pazzaz
The quicker the Tory Party breaks apart the better for the whole country.
This could be good news…
It’s to allow them to double spending under the election rules, I’ll put money on it.
If this was Labour not only would it be all over BBC News, Andrew Marr would personally travel the country shouting about it through everyone’s letterboxes.
Not sure what a breakaway group would achieve, people must surely understand by now that if they vote Tory they get Tory. Maybe they can join up with John Mann et al and have a nice new party of washed up, pointless, neoliberal no-marks? Throw in Nick Clegg as the Serious Political Heavyweight and they should get at least 2.4% of the vote.
I’d pay to watch that.
New Labourites talk of a new party, with Tories expressing interest. Then Tories talk of a new party. It appears to be one and the same new party? Help get state pension policies supported by Jeremy Corbyn into 2018 Labour Manifesto to increase the pitifully small 20 per cent grey vote for Labour.
