Here’s the real reason Chief Rabbi Mirvis attacked Jeremy Corbyn and Labour: he’s a TORY (and a racist, it seems)
Considering the furore over Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis’s attack on Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party, one would think that this was an open-and-shut case, and that all the evidence shows an honest and decent man, concerned about the safety of his people. Right?
WRONG!
Here’s the reason: Ephraim Mirvis is a dyed-in-the-wool Tory.
The text reads: “I am delighted to congratulate Boris Johnson, a longstanding friend and champion of the Jewish community, on becoming the next leader of the Conservative Party and our next Prime Minister. As he accepts upon himself the mantle of responsibility to lead our nation, may he be blessed with the wisdom to successfully navigate the political uncertainties we face and bring healing and prosperity to our great country.”
Considering the history of racism, sexism, Islamophobia and – yes – anti-Semitism that Mr Johnson and the Conservative Party trail behind them like a shroud, that is in the worst possible taste.
Not only that – he’s a firm supporter of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Israel, an apartheid state where Palestinians are persecuted:
For those who have trouble reading the text, it states: “The Rabbi, who used to live in Israel and is personal friend of both Boris Johnson as well as Netanyahu, has frequently defended Israel’s right to bomb Palestinians.” It is followed by a series of weblinks in support of the statement.
So it seems Mr Mirvis, happy to tar Labour with the anti-Semitism brush, is a racist himself.

WHY do the media, including the BBC never ask Jew who support the Palestinians to speak MANY jews are Pro Jeremy Corbyn, ansd ANTI THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT. but the media never asks them.
Jeremy Corbyn is one of the most PRO Semitic people in Parliament. Most Pro PEACE, WHY does the media hide all the support he gets?
Perhaps because the Establishment see him as a threat to their power. ‘Twas ever thus.

My tv nearly got broken at lunchtime when my husband insisted on watching a BBC ‘debate’ on this Rabbi’s disgraceful pronouncements.
In my more optimistic moments I realise that it only shows how worried the Tories and ‘establishment’ are about the prospects of a Tory defeat, but it saddens me that so many people who are not unintelligent and should know better seem to soak up the ‘antisemitism in the Labour Party’ and ‘I cannot vote for Corbyn’ smears and then repeat them without even having bothered to do any reading or research themselves.
I wasn’t aware of Rabbi Mirvis’ sympathies prior to today, but it does not surprise me in the least. Thank you as ever for providing more actual facts than we ever get in the MSM.
It’s not only that they worry or are afraid of a Tory defeat, but more to the point they are terrified at the prospect of a Corbyn-led Labour victory! (and what that represents).
Tory biased BBC had it blaring out as item one on the news at lunch time. I felt sick to my stomach. Then I heard another speaker saying that Jewish people would feel unsafe in this country under a Labour Government. This is not democracy! This is a perverse use of freedom of speech.There are many , many Jewish people who have spoken up in support of Corbyn. Why do we never hear of them on MSM? I think we know the answer to that one, don’t we.
They were blaring it out on Radio 4 news first thing this morning as I woke up at 7.00am, without a shred of doubt or any expression of an alternative viewpoint, no mention of the Rabbi’s Rightwing affiliations or the inappropriateness of his outburst, or that the opinions he expressed are based upon no facts or evidence whatsoever and made no specific direct allegations of any detail other than vague unsubstantiated generalizations, but hey why mention any of that and ruin a good headline? Then this evening we had Mr. Corbyn subjected to Andrew Neil’s pedantic interview techniques on tv. Boy oh boy are the Establishment afraid!
