Grayling put in charge of intelligence committee – we live in an age of Orwellian doublespeak

Chris Grayling: He’s as clever as he looks.

This announcement makes it extremely unlikely that we’ll ever see the so-called ‘Russia report’ on interference by that country’s government in UK politics:

Chris Grayling has been named as Downing Street’s choice to head the Commons Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC), that is responsible for publishing the report.

It’s further proof that the Conservative government has adopted George Orwell’s concept of “doublethink” – the acceptance of two diametrically-opposed concepts at the same time.

Why else would they put a dimwit of Grayling’s magnitude in charge of an intelligence committee?

The Russian interference report has been ready to be published since the end of October 2019, but was delayed when the election was called, and then subsequently delayed again until the ISC reconvened.

So it’s already five months late.

With Grayling in charge, that report may never see the light of day.

The choice has provoked fury, even from Conservative MPs.

But here’s a thing: If they kick up a fuss that delays the committee from reconvening, won’t that set publication of the ‘Russia report’ back even further? Is that what Boris Johnson wants?

Russia is entirely blameless as far as this nut job assault on them in Britain is concerned. A nut job assault coming from the usual so called left who have little relationship to common language and honesty and respect and are in fact twisted pigs. The government in London is seen by its actions and those actions include with US and EU and NATO sending mass armed troops to Russia’s borders. As I put it to a Conservative writer at Twitter who posted a favourable comment about a classic Soviet film ‘Yes a good film. Made in Russia. I’m glad you’re promoting Russian culture in Conservative Party circles. It’d be even better if you stopped sending your f***ing troops to Russia’s borders’. He is Tim Stanley. Historian. Leader writer for the Daily Telegraph, contributing editor for Catholic Herald.

He has 52,000 followers unlike you who have 10 followers. I am for the truth and that means the truth in all circumstances. Not the truth we select to support a cause then lies elsewhere and everywhere else. It has to be the truth and nothing but the truth at all times. Labour going on about a non existent Russian involvement in Britain’s political system shows the bankruptcy they’ve become and shows them to be part of a nationwide racket that form the so called ‘middle class’, a false and rotten entity.

This government in London is the coldest eye enemy of Russia. Never mind their businessmen swinging off to Russia to soft talk their way into lucrative business deals. Russia has no identity with these enemy pigs. As they are the showcase arm of NATO bastardy.

So stop going on about Russia. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Stick to disability because that’s where you have knowledge. And another piece of advice from someone who means you no harm. Write longer pieces instead of lots of news flashes. You send out too many posts to whatever audience size you have. Then you can develop your ideas about the break down of social support which has been happening for many years now and was evident in Blair’s government.

If you were really “for the truth” then you would have admitted that I have around eight and a half thousand followers on Twitter, not the 10 you claimed.

I’m not interested in your personal criticism of myself or This Site because it is clear you have an agenda.

Are you one of the many Russian agent-provocateurs we keep hearing about, who comment on UK news sites in order to spread disinformation?

What a classic example of “Oxymoron” Grayling and Intelligence in the same title?

Perhaps they thought it was best to start with a clean slate, – use someone with no previously known intelligence.
